In 2010, Bilal Berreni (Zoo Project) and filmmaker Antoine Page set out on the long and challenging adventure of the film C’est assez bien d’être fou.
When the filming was finished, Bilal went to work on new projects in the United States. He died there a few months later, at the age of 23.
The film’s release, scheduled for spring 2018, is part of a wide-ranging tribute to Bilal Berreni that will also feature exhibitions, installations and the publication of eight books reflecting the scope of his work.
We have created a dedicated website presenting these events, with a “Contribute” section so that those who wish can help the project by contributing to its funding. This will allow us to preserve our independence and create the kind of tribute we’ve dreamed of.
